Shenzhen - Milan: the first Lifestyle Week

The first edition of the Shenzhen-Milan Lifestyle Week scheduled from March 19 to 23, 2024, is an event with which Lombardy wants to create "a direct bridge with Shenzhen, the spearhead of women's fashion in China" hosting excellent Lombard companies to encourage international creative and business exchange. The participation of Lombardy's fashion, food, design, and art realities in the Chinese event is favored by bilateral relations with the Region promoted by the fashion entrepreneur Hui Zhou Zhao, ambassador for Shenzhen-Milan relations, with the delegation from the Longhua district.

The event includes 15 Italian and local brands showing their collections at the Eachway Art and Fashion Museum in the Longhua district, together with a program of meetings with buyers and initiatives promoting Italian manufacturing abroad and the commercial relationship between Italy and China.

The opening ceremony is held in the presence of Barbara Mazzali, councilor for tourism, territorial marketing, and fashion of the Lombardy Region, and Mario Boselli, president of the Iccf-Italy China Council foundation.

The week opens with the Pinko fashion show, followed by Sara Battaglia, Momonì, Malo, and Mantero1902. Thursday 21 will be the turn of Gaetano Navarra, Malloni/Ixos, Akep, Meimeij, SaraRoka, MeltinPot, EdwardAchour, and Kaos. Finally, Friday will show the creations of Alabama Muse, Via Piave33, Hadrian Wang, Interdee, Chau-Rising, Hui, and Alessandro Enriquez. The schedule also includes workshops and exhibitions in multiple areas of Shenzhen, from the Art Zone to the Design District and the Fashion Lab. Finally, in the Nanshan district, Italian brands will be able to meet 200 Chinese buyers to enter the network of local hub showrooms.
