The 2024 edition of e-P Summit, Pitti Immagine's event focusing on the relationship between fashion and the digital world, will be held at the Stazione Leopolda in Florence from April 09 to 10, 2024, hosting 47 companies (compared to the 33 participating in the last edition).

"In an industry that is constantly evolving, we want to offer a dedicated platform that helps companies anticipate changes and discover the solutions already available, to meet future challenges that require an increasingly integrated, effective, and responsible approach," commented Raffaello Napoleone, ceo of Pitti Immagine.

"I feel particularly satisfied with this edition's participants. On the stage of the Stazione Leopolda we will host 25 speeches by authoritative guests on topical issues identified together with our Scientific Committee," added Rinaldo Rinaldi, scientific director of e-P Summit. "The common thread of our event will be Artificial Intelligence, a topic that is rapidly becoming a game-changer in the fashion industry. From product development to marketing, sales, and supply chain management and optimization, artificial intelligence offers companies new opportunities to streamline their operations and achieve new goals, but also new challenges."

Among the key topics on the program are digitizing design, 3D and augmented reality, supply chain governance, and the product journey seen through topics such as source certifications, anti-counterfeiting, environmental data-backed, and ethical sustainability.

The Innovation Call, held in collaboration with main partner UniCredit, will return in this edition. The project will present eight fashion tech startups selected by the Scientific Committee offering them the opportunity to showcase to the audience their innovative solutions, from virtual fitting to chatbots, from NFTs to rental or reuse platforms for waste, also competing for the e-P Summit Innovation Award with a cash prize of 5000 euros. In addition, UniCredit will choose a start-up that will be offered special support activities as part of the "UniCredit Start Lab" business platform. The selected startups are Arxy, Brandplane, Cloov, FashionChain, Indigo.ai, Proke, WeWear, ZeroW.

A novelty of this edition will be the Smart Factory area, a section dedicated to smart machinery and technologies supporting the production of leather goods and apparel based on Industry 4.0 paradigms. Here, visitors will be able to view a wide range of machinery and experience a real product journey, from the design stage to pattern-making and production.
