During Berlin Fashion Week 02/2024, Human Touch is taking their studio to street level, allowing the audience to step into the world of garment manufacturing and experience it within an artful fashion installation. Meet the design team as they work on their first full collection centered around the unique paint-sewing technique. The week-long performative showcase will be complemented with the opportunity to shop from the brand’s upcycling line Human Touch remedy.

Academy Showcase - Luxury goes Circular & Virtual

Vorn – The Berlin Fashion Hub opens its doors for an immersive exhibition featuring the works of ten designers, who were participating in the Vorn Academy Program Loom: Luxury goes circular and virtual.

The awarded designers Dorota Stepniak (Content Story), Elodie Carstensen (Elodie Carstensen), Florian Máthé (Florian Máthé), Harm Heye Coordes (Church of the Hand), Ildiko David (Drenkrom), Isabel Toledo (emeom), Julia Tabakov (Tabakshop), Kseniya Dockhorn (Green Knit), Salar Mousavi (Children of Time) and Sarah Frede (Sarah Frede)will present each their designs and circularity concept.

Since 2021, this iconic event has been leading the conversation on the sustainable transformation of the fashion industry. Its approach to positive change is defined by bridging progressive visions with pragmatic implementation strategies.

The upcoming two-hour pop-up conference will be held at the historic Kronprinzenpalais, will dive into the theme of cultural sustainability, featuring changemakers who are revolutionizing diversity, equity, and inclusion on the local and international level. At the center of these topics, conference organizer studio MM04 positions marketing and communication as powerful levers of industry transformation, inspiring an expansive, future-oriented conversation. Guests are invited to stay for a networking coffee hour at 13h, to make new connections and continue the dialogue on creating positive change.

202030 – The Berlin Fashion Summit is organized by studio MM04, in cooperation the Beneficial Design Institute and Der Berliner Salon. It is funded by the Senate Department for Economics, Energy and Public Enterprises Berlin and is part of Berlin Fashion Week.

Feed me not' is an exhibition, that brings together a diverse group of artists and designers questioning the relationship to materials, information and emotions that we are confronted with beyond our personal choice. By processing these both subjectively and critically, they offer us alternative ways of approaching our lives and experiences.

The selected artists conscientiously transform various discarded materials, such as e-waste, bulky waste or collected flip-flops into sublime works of art. Through their narratives, they reflect on how the decisions of today's society reflect on our futures. Wether in performance, photography or abstract tapestries, the show serves as a visual reflection on the overproduction of plastic, global supply chains and planetary responsibility.

The exhibition holds space for the documentary of a communitarian projects that fashion designer Heinemann has recently set up in Ghana: The Nnoboa Space is an innovative program for young art and design professionals from the Sekondi- Takoradi Area and offers comprehensive training led by local and international fashion design and film/photography experts.
